Despite a howling crosswind, both teams adapted well and played the ball to feet and  produced some good attractive football.
Rovers had the lions share of posession and territory in the first half but were kept out by some good defending by Avon.
Striker BRANDON TYLER took his chance well after 7 minutes for the homeside but Avons'
CONNOR TOUTT was equally clinical with his effort at the other end just before half time.
With no A team fixture head coach DEL DEMPSEY joined regular coach MARK JEFFERIES on the sideline and between them made good tactical use of the substitutions throughout the match.
Rovers went in front for the second time shortly after the restart with AARON CRIDDLE providing the finishing touch
having received the ball from the ever hard working ALEX GOULD.
Avon kept pressing for an equaliser and were awarded a penalty 5 minutes from time.
Although Rovers keeper HARRY CHAPPEL went the right way it was well executed by
Avons RAAFEA MOHAMED.

Again the man of the match award was closely contested , but the solid defensive work from RYAN BIRD meant the award went to him.WELL DONE RYAN !
