Rovers opening game away to St Vallier was an 8 goal thriller which seen Rovers come back from the brink of defeat twice.
St Vallier scored twice in quick succession to take the lead comeing up to half time, then just before the break rovers won a free kick on the edge of the box and Dec Carvell curled one over the wall into the top corner to make it two one at the interval.
Rovers came out in the second half kicking up the hill and substitute Will Munro had an instant impact on the game when he broke the offside trap and slotted it past the keeper to make it 2-2 and game on.
St Vallier were not finished yet and despite some fine saves from Joe in goal they were once again 2 goals in front with the game now standing at 4-2.
Then as the game looked ded and buried for Rovers Zane Oldfield gave the away side a glimmer of hope when he netted to make it 3-2 With 5 mins left Cam Brook inched a shot wide while Will Munro done the same 2 mins later. then with the last kick of the game Dec Carvells Corner was headed home by Captain Zac Hearle to earn his side a well earned point. There were fine performances from all players involved and a true never say die atitude gained us a very valuable point well done to all.
